Thinking back I don't feel like Manitoba was THAT bad. I mean the mess on the base there is pretty decent. But I have to agree with the earlier remark about how all of Manitoba seems flat, except for the training area at CFB Shilo, lol..and yeah the weather is kinda screwy sometimes - freezing...

I think the local reserve units from Hamilton should be deployed to assist police with the protest  ;D One thing is for sure though, taking detours around Hwy 6 to get to parade night can get to be a pain.

I know Hatch gloves are respected and favoured among Ontario Provincial Police officers who are issued them..there are a few different kinds to really consider, depending on what you need them for exactly. But yeah overall pretty good.

Holy cow.. It depends on whether it's Res or Reg. Res can be held in a myriad of places (including armouries themeselves!)...my BMQ was in Shilo, because I'm Res Signals -- for reserves it depends on your trade, for Reg I'm pretty sure it's just St. Jean. -Ross
