Hello All,
With all the talk on the other threads of killing the Armoured Corps. or disbanding the Para taskings in the Canadian Armed Forces, I thought that we should analyze something we probably have never thought of. It‘s the Treasury Board of Canada that controls virtually everything related to how and where the government spends our tax dollars. Why not have the Conference of Defence Associations lobby the hell out of them?! All the other ministries have to bow to the Treasury Board to justify their budgets. Why can‘t DND do the same thing?! What this tells us that family friends of the Prime Minister who f*#k up and lose a billion dollars like Jane Stewart (daughter of Bob Nixon, former Province of Ontario Liberal Cabinet Minister with David Peterson) are not accountable to the Treasury Board. Yet DND lives on life support while our sons and daughters get worse treatment than a Canadian Whitetrash Welfare Recipient (a CWWR; ironically everyone in the Ottawa River area likes to listen to country music which explains everything). So in closing, write to the Treasury Board of Canada and voice your opinion for more support of the Canadian Armed Forces. Here is the website.
