I got sworn in infront of almost my entire regiment at the Christmas dinner.  Other guys on my BMQ just got pulled into a room and told to read a card.

I smell future general. 

My reserve weekend BMQ we sleep on the nice soft concrete on the parade square on an air mattress that leaks the air out.  :salute:

Yea I didn't even notice until I got home and emptied everything out to organize it.  I hope I don't get stomped on for not saying anything before.  One good thing is I parade this Friday and I will tell them there.

Well I just finished my first weekend of BMQ last night (beat the hell out of me).  It was hard but fun and interesting.  Just a quick question about my helmet.  It has no CADPAT on it just olive drab colour.  I was wondering where I get the CADPAT to cover the helmet? thanks :cdn: :salute:

Well, I am applying to get my OACP (Ontario Association Of Chiefs Of Police) certificate. My problem is the only test date is on Feb 18th 2006, which is a Saturday. I start BMQ on the 20th of this month.  I worked it out what weekends I will be on base and the 18th falls on a weekend I will be...

I am just curious if anyone knows where weekend BMQ starts for 32CFB.  I heard it is either at Fork York or Moss Park.  Anyone heard anything? Also, I have yet to get my kit but I am heading to the armory on Friday to hopefully pick everything up.  Also I still have not received my temp ID...

Absolutely amazing night.  Thank's to the 48th for welcoming me to the regiment. 

One more question.  Is it ok to bring the girlfriend along for the swearing in?  Not to stay for the dinner, she will take my car home and I can take the GO back home. :cdn:

Well, I just got the call to get sworn in tomorrow at 6:30pm.  Also tomorrow is there Christmas Dinner that i have to attend after, just wondering what to expect.  Any 48th Highlanders help would help me out.  PS.  I have no dress uniform, so I guess I have to dust off the dress suit. :cdn...
