Need some help.

Well, I am applying to get my OACP (Ontario Association Of Chiefs Of Police) certificate. My problem is the only test date is on Feb 18th 2006, which is a Saturday. I start BMQ on the 20th of this month.  I worked it out what weekends I will be on base and the 18th falls on a weekend I will be on course.  The test is not an all day thing, only a couple hours.  Is it possible to take some time off on the Saturday this early into the course?
