Quebec City:
- Charbon for steaks (in the VIA Rail building), and Aviatic next door for drinks.  Both pricey, but Charbon is worth every blood-dripping dollar  >
- Mous (Moss?) for $30 all-you-can-eat Belgian-style mussels and fries.  They even de-shell them for you!

Agreed ED...I had eaten there once and would not go back as well...food is really great in Hali...they have many delicacies there as well if your are willing to try them out
