Can I enlist as a medical tech and then swtich to be a nurse? If so how difficult is this?  ???

I am starting to sense a looping of questions.  Sure this one was asked and answered several times already?

A nurse in the military is an Officer trade, you require your nursing degree first. There are ways to do that, RMC..... or other entry programs....

Why don't you just stay a medic, we have fun too....

but anyway, maybe someone else can help with this thread, although I'm sure its been answered before.

If you join up as a medic (or any other trade for that matter), you can at a later time try to go Nurse via University Training Plan - NCM.  You have to be first accepted into a nursing program in a civilian university - RMC doesn't offer it - and of course get reccomended for Officer training.

Good luck.
