Hi I just applied to the army (combat eng). I work in a Doctors office. One of the doctors is my family doctor.  I havent told them I have applied. My question is does it have to be your family doctor to fill out the forms, or does the canadian forces have their own doctors that can do it? What about people that dont have doctors? because in ontario thats a big issue.

Thanks Melissa

I also applied for 043 cmbt Engr and the sgt medic said to get your family doctor to fill out certain forms. I don't think it will be a hassle if you work in the same office!! :) But as to what happens for people that hve no doctor I have no clue.

Good Luck

No you have to use your own doctor and we call it the Canadian Forces.

But as to what happens for people that hve no doctor I have no clue.

That is the applicant's problem.

I have/had this same problem in the past, i havnt had a family doc in several years, but all i do/have done is go to the same clinic all the time. Whenever i need a family doctor for something, i just go to the same clinic.
