    VAC wait times

Of course that is is normal for VAC. They have to justify (somehow) the need for new employees and new offices.  They have a very good union working for them and you (veteran) are the reason they have jobs. Cheers

    PIA-

Lucky you. Looks like you have a good CM in Vac.  My is useless; one of the newly hired social workers. She has not suggested even one benefit or course of action. Everything on my own.... thanks to the info from veteransvoice.info Cheers and good luck with everything

CAF Ombudsman on medical release and support transition to VAC

beret17, you are correct, you do not know much about the military med system, but seem to be very quick with defending VAC. I believe, not so long ago , you were accusing someone of milking the system, even though he/she only asked a simple question. Do you have someone from your family working...

    Higher than expected application?

Also, the sad part is that this individual (seems like from his post) is working for VAC. No wonder, so many applications are denied by VAC. I got a reply from VAC that they are 3 months behind, so .... 16 weeks turns into more than 32 weeks. Thanks VAC.

    VAC and Tinnitus

meni0n,  go to your mil doc and ask for referal.  If he/she gives you a hard time, then ask that they put a 'refusal' note in your file. Worked for me, though I had to use it only couple of times with mil doctors.  Most of them were good.

Federal Budget 2016 - Good News for Vets?

Hi Gents, 'Steak' was intentional.  As one gent on veteranvoice.info  used the idea before me.  Credit owed to him. I am glad it was noticed. :)

Federal Budget 2016 - Good News for Vets?

Great interview. Thanks to the reporter that she goes after Herr. He seems to avoid veterans and not updating about anything. Love the shirt of Jody Mitic: "Spiritual Gangster". Herr said, we fixed ELB. How?  What about LTD? is SISIP/Manulife part of it or just 'insurance mentality' approach...

    Delay in CFAT Results

It sure does depend on the recruiting ctr (meaning: people working there). Avoid at all cost Barrie, Ontario. Cheers

New Minister of Veterans Affairs: Mandate Letter, etc.

Who are the 'stakeholders'? I am sure some of them represented veterans before (thanks for the NVC). I guess nothing came off that mtg? not much news. I guess no monies left to implement any of the election promisses.  Maybe, just maybe, something will be implemented shortly before the next...

    Physio reports

Just requested my physiotherapy report from my base and ... shocker. All kinds of 'non compliant, failed to re-book, D/C for noncompliance/non- attendance'. Needless to say: all BS.  But too late for me. I cannot correct it now. They were not re-booking, not available, not helpfull, not...

    Discrimination

golgo,  I think your points are very legit. Maybe, just maybe, you are too good at what you do. "They" do not want you to move from that position to something new. If that is the case you will never get career opportunities like other do. Forget about being offered any courses, second language...

    Decision

My case: in 2006, according to him/her from VAC, injury did not happen as described and did not cause the medical condition (though real specialists said: yes). His "medical opinion" was eventually disregarded by VRAB (many years later). Name of this fine VAC Medical Advisor: N.R. Shore. I am...

johnwade: great you are asking the question. Have a look at some of the posts dealing with VAC, : class action law suit against NVC; SISIP LTD; JPSU issues; Sunnybrook Vet Facility,  VREB, etc., etc. See also veteranvoice.info all the best

    Suicides

Problem solved! Research done by employee of Naval Health Research Center in San Diego. Paid by Navy/Pentagon/etc.  No need to look after veterans, ill and injured, etc., etc. Self explanatory. Well done.
