Of course that is is normal for VAC. They have to justify (somehow) the need for new employees and new offices.  They have a very good union working for them and you (veteran) are the reason they have jobs. Cheers

beret17, you are correct, you do not know much about the military med system, but seem to be very quick with defending VAC. I believe, not so long ago , you were accusing someone of milking the system, even though he/she only asked a simple question. Do you have someone from your family working...

Also, the sad part is that this individual (seems like from his post) is working for VAC. No wonder, so many applications are denied by VAC. I got a reply from VAC that they are 3 months behind, so .... 16 weeks turns into more than 32 weeks. Thanks VAC.

meni0n,  go to your mil doc and ask for referal.  If he/she gives you a hard time, then ask that they put a 'refusal' note in your file. Worked for me, though I had to use it only couple of times with mil doctors.  Most of them were good.

Just requested my physiotherapy report from my base and ... shocker. All kinds of 'non compliant, failed to re-book, D/C for noncompliance/non- attendance'. Needless to say: all BS.  But too late for me. I cannot correct it now. They were not re-booking, not available, not helpfull, not...

golgo,  I think your points are very legit. Maybe, just maybe, you are too good at what you do. "They" do not want you to move from that position to something new. If that is the case you will never get career opportunities like other do. Forget about being offered any courses, second language...
