What do I do now?

I have an assumption that my file was closed because of a bad background check etc. however do I ever get something official explaining why my file was closed? or do I try to contact my file manager and hopefully get an answer?

I think the best advice anyone can give here is the same one that's in your attachment. Call or visit to find out the issues and then start sorting them out to get your file reopened. Good luck.

Yeah, I will do that first thing Monday. Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience. I have heard of files being closed after years of inactivity.

I think files may also get closed when there are no current openings for the selected trades.
