The Canadian Forces Health Services Group Headquarters (CF H Svcs Gp HQ), Directorate of Medical Policy (D Med Pol) Medical Standards Section has a requirement for the services of two (2) Physicians (Medical Standards Analysts) to provide professional medical recommendations based on the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Universality of Service.
REQUIREMENT
The two (2) Physicians (Medical Standards Analysts) will review all medical files of CAF members who have been assigned a permanent change in medical category or a prolonged temporary medical category status. The resources must also provide occupational medical expertise and direction regarding permanent changes of Medical Employment Limitations (MELs). The resources will be responsible for reviewing electronic and paper medical records of CAF members on the Canadian Forces Health Information (CFHIS). There is also the requirement to liaise with staff from outside agencies on matters related to occupational medicine.
Up to two (2) contracts may be awarded.
The period of the services will be for one (1) year with an estimated level of effort (LOE) of 190 days. The contract(s) will also include two (2) additional one-year option periods with an estimated LOE of 190 days each. Tasks and Deliverables are detailed in Annex A of the Request for Proposal ....
