...Here's a chart of the Dow. You need to click on the "three month" tab and it will show the high it was at at the end of January, and it's bouncy slide since then.

Now click on the "five year" tab and it will show you that the growth during Trump's first year was already an ongoing trend for a number of years under Obama. (You might recall that Obama took over at the height of the mess that was going on during Bush's tenure)...

Yeah, niiice....FJAG.  :(  Now I have to live with the fact that the Dow Jones increased 248% in value during Obama's terms of Presidency.  :tsktsk:

New Trump policy will ban most transgender troops from serving in the military: http://nationalpost.com/news/world/trump-order-would-ban-most-transgender-troops-from-serving

President Donald Trump released an order Friday night banning most transgender troops from serving in the military except under “limited circumstances,” following up on his calls last year to ban transgender individuals from serving.

The White House said retaining troops with a history or diagnosis of “gender dysphoria” —  those who may require substantial medical treatment — “presents considerable risk to military effectiveness and lethality.”

More backwards thinking from the commander in chief.

More backwards thinking from the commander in chief.

Wasn't there some US policy or rule where as members cannot deploy while transitioning, a process which can take years.

The biggest loser in a trade war between China and the U.S.? It's you (but don't worry about it)
A real trade war would likely spark a recession, but experts doubt that one is really coming

Not sure how long his "bark is worse than his bite" will last considering that he's firing all the people who disagree with him and keep him on the straight and narrow.

They can't write his legacy until he's voted out.  Even then, you won't know knock on effects until awhile later. Anything else is crystal ball reporting.

Like "didn't" happen to Bush or Obama...or others before?  ???

I never said that, and your question is rhetorical anyway. You already know your answer.

Your previous statement implies that Trump be granted treatment unlike previous Presidents had been subject to.  Why should he be any different?

The DoD policy that I served under was no gays in the military under Obama that went away and in came transgender people wo were looking for free surgery, and women were allowed in combat unit. ::)

Woman in the combat arms?! That's madness.  What's next? Giving them and the gays the right too vote?

It implies nothing of the sort. It is a singular statement about a singular subject.

Any speculation on your part tying back to previous administration's is plain fantasy, from you.  I never attempted to portray otherwise, nor do I think it can be misconstrued by anyone, including yourself.

Yes, I will agree every previous administration was judged prior to the effects of their policies were fully felt.

That does not justify your your attempt to portray my post otherwise.

I would likely not mind a general conversation judging a swath of Presidents, but that is a different subject, whether you decide or not.

@RealDonald Trump
Many lawyers and top law firms want to represent me in the Russia case...don’t believe the Fake News narrative that it is hard to find a lawyer who wants to take this on. Fame & fortune will NEVER be turned down by a lawyer, though some are conflicted. Problem is that a new......

....lawyer or law firm will take months to get up to speed (if for no other reason than they can bill more), which is unfair to our great country - and I am very happy with my existing team. Besides, there was NO COLLUSION with Russia, except by Crooked Hillary and the Dems!

Sigh.

Let the general lawyer slamming begin.

:brickwall:

Well, to most folks just about the only thing worse than a lawyer is a politician.
At least that's in your favour.

Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2

Shakespeare's exact line ''The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers,'' is almost universally misinterpreted as a call to rid the country of corruption. In fact it was stated by Dick the Butcher in ''Henry VI,'' Part II, act IV, Scene II, Line 73. Dick the Butcher was a follower of the rebel Jack Cade, who thought that if he disturbed law and order, he could become king. Notwithstanding the humour of the line, Shakespeare, in fact, was paying a compliment to attorneys and judges for instilling order and justice in society.

Thus endeth the Shakespearean lesson.

After that lesson, I can only quote the protagonist of The Tempest... "Our revels now are ended."

So, on your patience evermore attending,
New joy wait on you! Here our play has ending.
