If you become sick while on class A/B, is the army supposed to extend your contract until you are fit again, or does your contract end and you are on your own?

I believe the army will continue providing care for said injury, but your Cl A/B won't get extended.

No,

If you are talking about a service related injury, you may be entitled to Disability Compensation.  Further to that, you are not on a contract, you are on a Class A/B period of service.  Also, if it is a service related illness or Injury, you will be entitled to VAC compensation.

Remember, the onus is on you to prove the injury is service related.
