Rifle Question

Hey, Sorry if this has been asked but i looked and didn't find much of what i was wanting. When you join the military, you get a rifle at BMQ. So after BMQ do you have to give the rifle back or does every trade in the military get issued a rifle and keep it throughout they're military career? I was just curious because i was thinking of going SIG OP cuz i don't wanna be full out combat, but i still wanna play with a gun now and then lol. I was also thinking of going AC OP too because i heard the airforce is great, But AC OP doesn't have to do SQ from what i've noticed and stuff, so do they keep they're rifle after BMQ?

No rifle is permanently issued to you, for your duration with a Unit or Course you will be temporarily issued one......

In other words you can't take it home.....

And I believe this has been asked and answered before....
