i just applied for the armed forces, i had all my paperwork done by Feb. 9th, but some people are saying that the government is trying to get more recruits in by 2007, i know its a long wait anyway, but will this speed up my processing any?

No, whether the government wants to increase the CF by 5000 over the next five years which would make it 2010 not 2007 has nothing to do with how fast you are going to get processed.  Whether you are competitive for the occupation that you have selected will determine that.
