Good Afternoon, I have attempted some extensive searches but if I missed it, excuse me:
I am looking into applying for ROTP for MSEng in the Fall (if I can get some other things sorted out with the recruiting office). I am looking to talk to someone in MSEng about some specific questions regarding the type of work that will be done, as anything I can find is really general.
For example, the reason I want to get involved in Marine Systems is because I have heard that they may be opportunities for design work - however, I was also told this will be done after a rank (I can't recall) that would involve many years of service etc. (which I understand, and isn't a big deal). It's - of course - not my only reason for why I want join.
Other than that, really, I just want to know what some MSEng's actually do themselves, day-to-day. Any help?
