It states in the video summary that they were Norwegian.  I'm pretty sure I saw the Norwegian flag on the uniforms aswell.

ya but why wouldn't it be in Norwegian?  all the versions on the internet are in English. i am not doubting that it is Norwegian, i am just wondering why it is in English, and might i an perfect English with no accents.

I'm guessing they used English to make it more widely accessible and probably because they were spoofing an English song. *shrugs* Your guess is as good as mine. =)

As to the lack of accent, when I was living in Europe I was consistently impressed with how well young Scandinavians spoke English. When I asked them about it, they explained it was in part due to the heavy emphasis on teaching English in the school system (face it, the rest of the world is not going to learn Norwegian to talk to them) and the fact the TV stations subtitle all the American shows rather than dub them like the bigger European powers. Exposure is everything when it comes to learning foreign languages.

I don't understand Norwegian very well, so the video being in English is a boon.

This has been around for a while.  It was made by some soldiers in the Norwegian Battle Group in Kosovo a couple of years ago.  How do I know?  I received a copy months ago from a Norwegian officer who was there at the time.  There's another one about dogs (that I don't have and haven't seen - it involved the culling of stray dogs in theatre) that caused quite a scandal in Norway at around the same time...

why would, that one van say Military police in English? do all the military's have it in the same language, or would they of just painted it in English for the sake of the song?

Seen it a dozen times, also they weren't marines, the guys laughing in the background are though. The guys sinking are Army Soldiers from the Artillery.

would it be a good Idea to make a post with all the funny videos on this site and sticky it up at the top of the off topic forum? and if the Video has a topic attached to it we would just post the link under the URL. I personally think it would cut back on the double posting . just a thought though
