Depends on whether or not we've seen "The Big Lebowski" as a group recently.
Obviously, no one expects you to know ranks and such right off the street, however, recruiters will introduce themselves as "Master-Corpral Smith" "Sergeant White" etc, if it concerns you, just refer to them however they introduce themselves.
