Sunday 25 Mar 07 marks the 62nd anniversary of the day Fredrick Topham, a medic with 1st Can Para, won the VC for bravery under fire. The battle took place after 1 Can Para jumped in during Op Varsity. A plaque in his honour was unveiled in a park in Toronto, Topham's hometown. Many veterans and serving jumpers were in attendance. Lest we forget.
