Do the Canadian Forces relax certain standards for in demand jobs?

I want to apply as an Engineer Officer, but my vision is V4 (borderline V3/V4). So I was wondering if I would have relaxed standards for vision, since it's the only thing that I don't meet standards wise, and since Engineer Officer is currently in demand. Thanks in advance for any responses, and move this post where necessary.
