It is really too bad that they want to get ride of the name JTF2. I mean, I still get lots of laughs out of saying "John's Trout Farm" at the most ridiculous and inappropriate times  ;D

And, to appease the Comic-Con weirdo's....the commander would have to wear a blue double breasted jacket w/ a helmet that has a chromed face shield. Of course what would that say of our Canadian values? Maybe JTF2 name would be better than some, worse than others(note above)

How about changing their name to 'International Rescue'? Thunderbird 2 is even the right colour, and it's got the numkber '2' in it, which could be kept as a tradition.

When the unit first stood up the RCMP team was called SERT (Special Emergency Response Team) the suggestion at the time was to call the unit the SMERFs  (Special Military Emergency Response Forces)

I think it's time they went back to their roots.  I wonder who Papa SMERF would be ??
