Well I believe that the trials on them are now complete and that they are being issued to personnel deploying on International Ops at this time. I could be wrong though as the CTS web-site is still listing them as "pre-production."

The CADPAT version has been issued in theatre over the last couple of years.   They were held only in theatre and transferred from outgoing to incoming pers.   Units mounting current missions are issuing them to pers in Canada pre-deployment.

There are a lot of the new vests on Ex in Wainwrigt at the moment.

It is a cover - and we have them in AR CADPAT as well.

When i was in theatre a year and a half ago we only had the green colours.  From all the guys i've talked to in A-Stan they've told me they only had green and cadpat AR covers.  My question is are the vest in that pictrure simply cadpat covers or has cts finally put that vest into mass production.

My vest is CADPAT, as are many other vests in Wainwright.

TF01-06 pers where issued them last month prior to leaving for BTE.

However they where issued with the FRAG insert not the overseas IIIA armour insert.
