Boots

Hello,
Just wondering about boots in the infantry. Are the boots issued to infantry any different than the ones issued to other trades?Are the boots your issued any good? And are you aloud to wear boots that aren‘t issued?

Pretty much the same boots accross the board, all trades. Certain boots are issued for tours etc..., those that have been overseas or in specific trades can elaborate. Standard issue boots now are the Standard Combat boots you have seen everywhere, as well as the new wet weatherboots.

Wearing unissued kit is always a debate, and is apparently up to the CO‘s descretion now, depending on the mission at hand, climate, etc...
