Biology degree joining the army

Good Evening,
I recently applied to join Canadian air force, I finished a degree in biology, and I am wondering how long would it take them to get back to me? Also, what are the chances to get into the airforce with biology?
and if I do not, will they let me go to another division in the army?

Depends on what trade you applied for in the Air Force.
Some trades are "purple" so you can work any of the 3 elements (like MP, MEd Tech, Clerk, etc). It's the same job basically, just a different coloured uniform.
Some are Air Force specific like Pilot, AVS, AVN, etc.
If you applied for Pilot, but don't get accepted for that they will look at the other choices you selected.
Only the recruiter can really tell you which trades you degree is good for.

It is kinda of quick process for some of them which is good, I just have another question, why reliability screening sometimes take longer time for some?. Thanks for the link
