A five-thousand mile trip to liberate Europe
Of all the British-led units to storm the beaches of Normandy during D-Day, it was the Canadian Scottish Regiment, from British Columbia that made it furthest inland.
From an ocean away, this unit of volunteer soldiers travelled nearly 5 thousand miles to liberate Europe.
The Nine's Christopher Bobyn tells their story.
