Canada's Air Force and the Air Force Association of Canada invite the people of Ottawa to show their appreciation to Canadian war veterans, and the 103 Canadians who flew in the Battle of Britain, by attending this stirring and highly visual event.

On Sunday, September 17th, 2006 at Canada Aviation Museum, Aviation and Rockliffe Parkway, Ottawa, Ontario. The 66th anniversary Battle of Britain ceremonies will be held featuring:

- Fly-pasts* by Vintage Wings of Canada’s Spitfire, Hurricane, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Avro Lancaster, Canadian Forces 2 CF-18 fighter jets, CP-140 Aurora, and 2 CH-146 Griffons
- The Central Band of the Canadian Forces, Air Command Pipes & Drums
- Canadian Forces members on parade alongside Second World War veterans
- Wreath laying, Reveille, Minute of Silence
