BRT, I was thinking Basic Recruit Training.

Here is what I found out. After the interview they do a 5 year back ground check and it takes about a week to come back. They also merit you which takes some time. I did my interview 4 April and got the call 7 May to start 14 May.  Yeah!!!!

I'm answering this from the start of the thread, If your worried about the grip test and your close to a military base go to the gym and ask the staff if they can check your grip. This is what we did for our son and sorry to say but he really had to work on his grip so I'm glad we did this...

I don't see the big deal on the ghost kit, you have so much crap to do for inspection that not using a soap dish, toothbrush, razor and shaving cream are only 4 little things.  If you cut those corners with the ghost kit it is not going to make your bed that much better or your shoes shine that...

Don't count on it, I've seen lots of families in similar situations and get posted to the other end of the country, it's not fun but thats how it works. You can always ask.

LOL why?  So far we are having fun watching it. My husband and I have been through basic so we are telling our son, no no no no.  It's kind of like this but with lots more swearing in it or this is more how it would be.

I am just wondering what classes are in BMQ Other then First Aid, ranks and pt classes. Thanks for the help
