I am looking to join the Combat Engineer Regiment in Ottawa. They are open only on Tuesdays so I will have to wait till then to call and find out. I am curious to find out if they are accepting applications or what time of year they usually accept applications.

I rarely ever listened to CBC Radio however I came across this series at the library. I was hooked up to season 4, then I lost interest. Good series while it lasted - had some good laughs.

When I was discussing my application status with a recruiter last week, he explained to me that all applications are reviewed and given a score out of 5. Each trade has a certain score that your application must meet in order to continue on with your recruiting process. Armoured and Combat...

I am in the application process now so this is just my opinion... Best bet would be to talk to a recruiter. I believe you may have to be drug free for x amount of years before they will consider you. By the sound of it, you do seem to be on the right path, and the recruiters may acknowledge...
