Can anyone who has received offers to ROTP tell me their Grade 11 and 12 academic averages and their extra curriculars so I can get a clearer view of my chances of getting in? Thanks.

Thanks! What did you get in your prerequisites and the CFAT?
I took Calculus 1, 2, linear algebra, engineering graphics, general chemistry, mechanics and 2 english courses and got around mid 90s in all. On CFAT I had 8/15 on English, 15/15 on spatial and 30/30 on math.

science, considering space science or mathematics... might switch to Arts for military studies if its too harsh

I have been told Today that RMC is full.
It seems I still have the option to go to a civilian university (if I get accepted). Is it possible to start a program in an university then go to RMC the next year?

Yes, but you'd still have to do 4 years at RMC.
I'm in the same boat, about go into year 2 civ university.
If you're done 3 years though, you can't go ROTP anymore and will have to switch your application to DEO.
Hello everyone! i hope you're doing well. I'd really appreciate any advice anyone could offer. I've been trying to convince my parent to let me join the military and they finally let me! but that was in April and i went in did my CFAT but didn't do well in the english and math portion of the CFAT. I also had a terrible week that day especially and i had no idea on how to study in that moment and felt the absolute worst like my whole life just got ruined. Its always been my passion to go into the Military but now its been almost 30 days well next week to be exact. I will be doing my re test for the CFAT next week. do you think i could still have a chance in joining this year for RTOP. My recruiter says I might have a chance as long as i do everything within the timed manner like pass my CFAT, interview, medical interview, and aircrew selection and give them my high school. Transcript. I also forgot to mention that i want to be a Pilot or Air Traffic Controller and study at RMC for aeronautical Engineering. But i was always implied that i should do everything like the application process in the beginning of the school year in September, well that was not the case for me. However I trying my best I really would appreciate any insight you guys could have. I recently purchased the army CFAT test review preparation hoping that i would do well. Then i did before in April. Do you guys think i can make it in time before July for the BMQ, FYOP and finish my aircrew and interview in the beginning of June. do you think RMC could still give me an offer for this year when i make it in time! I hope

Not to discourage you, but it is unlikely that you will be able to secure a spot for this year... Rmc and St-Jean are already full, and if they have any offer left to give, it would be for civilian universities. That to say, you should for sure continue with your application for next year. If you qualify for pilot or AEC based on your CFAT, you'll have to go do your CFAST, which is booked generally at least 1 month in advance (mine was almost 3). If you pass for pilot, you'll have to fly out for Toronto and do your Pilot medical which also takes a while.
