Seeing as this is a little old, but I thought I'd ask my question here. So coming up in May I graduate from school, and by June I am prohibited to CFSATE in Borden.  Meaning I cant move my affect nor family members.  Since I am going to school there, does anyone know if I can keep my insurance...

Read up CBI chapter 204, it states what you should be paid at.  I had a similar problem and i had to talk to the pay clerks many times before I had my pay readjusted to reflect my prior service.

I had a similar situation. Your best bet is to read through CBI chapter 204 and find the section that best applies to your situation.

infamous_p  that chart doesn't seem to be that accurate in portraying what trades are available to what degree you have.  Biggest thing I noticed was the Cbt Arms trade being not acceptable to certain degrees, which seems kind of odd.  Just wondering, where did you find this chart.

I'm not sure what Oting is, but I went from Pte to OCdt into the ROTP program.  Most that I talked to on ROTP that had no problems were Cpls and above, where as those who were Pte's who had BMQ course as a minimum, had difficulties, unless they went to RMC where it was magically fixed, w/o them...

I have a similar experience except, I had transferred immediately from reserves to regs, but had issues with recruiting.  They seem to regard anyone that wasn't a cpl or above as not Prior Service.  Although I have had my pay corrected, 2 years later, though I am not sure about the service time...

Not quite, its dependant on the situation at hand, but for your case, you would most likely not go on one.  On my reserve BMQ/SQ we had 5 Ocdt remain on our SQ course, but they had to ask there CO's permission.
