Alright, so I was just sworn in, and was told that the next available BMQ course was in the summer (for some reason the weekend courses aren't available...???) and I was wondering if you get time to go home like, on a weekend or something or if you get leave at all during this time.
Anyone serving in this regiment or know anything about it, like, how is it, the soldiers, the command, etc...? I may transfer over to the regiment once I start school in the area come September.
:warstory:
Ok, not so much a huge problem, but I get sworn into my reserve regiment on Tuesday night, now I missed the BMQ start date for this Friday and my regimental recruiter has informed me that I will be on the course for September, but I will be kitted up and parading with the regiment within a week...
I recieved this poem in an e-mail, everyone needs to read it, it's honestly beautiful.

They had told me two weeks, but its been three, going on four weeks monday. Whats the hold up? does it always take this damn long? I know for a fact I don't have a criminal record (I work with children as a volunteer in a hospice) and my credit, lets just say we all have our problems but nothing...
Opinions from anyone?
I know the differences I'm just asking from anyone in Armd. RECCE and Infantry to compare, debate and persuade on which one is better to be involved in, i.e. more fun I guess lol
:salute:
Frankly, I'm still caught up in the process and hoping to start BMQ Nov. 25 but I know everything will go smooth because I'm a "clean applicant" but anyway, Armoured RECCE was the most appealing to me because it involved brains and braun. In the long run I'm hoping to graduate university (1st...
Yeah I'm in college at the moment doing a program which would generally classify as a transfer year from college to Univ. I was wondering about RMC also, if I keep a 3.0 Average or higher in this year of General Arts and Science transfer crap, would they look at me?
