Though I'm not in the military yet, I would suggest that you finish highschool before you join so that you have a backup plan if you decide to quit the CF.  :cdn: :nod:

I heard from a couple of cadets from when I was in Trenton that adding a penny into a can of Kiwi black shoe polish helps keep the moisture in polish. Is this true?

I was told by an old chief in my Air cadet squadron that Parade gloss melts out in the sun.

Hello, My boots are a bumpy on the toes and  I have striped them of their polish 2 times and there still not as smooth as I want them to be. Does anyone know how to fix them?  ???

  Im kinda tired of wearing a wedge though I really want to stay in air cadets and get my pilot license or even if im lucky a parachutist wings.

  I find that berets look better with combats instead of the Tilly hat especially in camps. Should berets be issued to Air and Sea cadets in camps which combats are issued at and/or in their home corps/squadrons? Why or Why not?

Hello,     This summer, Im going to Blackdown ACSTC for my Basic Survival Course and I heard that we are to be issued combats for the 3 weeks we are there. My Questions are :   Do I have to wash my combats and press them?   Do I have to polish my combat boots, If so how?

Should air cadets be allowed to participate in the Basic Parachutist Course? Why or why not?

    I find that white is much better suited for the medical branch of  the CF because it is the background colour behind the red cross. Since the color red is already in use with the MPs ( uniform wise). In my opinion white would seem "cool".

  I just figured that since paratroopers in the CF wear maroon berets, why not the medical personnel wear white berets?

  Should medical personnel(i.e Medical Officer,Medical Technician,Nursing officers etc.) in the CF wear white berets as one of their headdresses? Why or Why not?  ??? :cdn:
