CT / Enrollment with CIC [Merged]

As was said earlier every Region* is different. Speaking to British Columbia you should start the application at the Cadet Corps or Squadron where they will generate the required documentation for you - it's quite a nice stack of paperwork. If you go to CFRC they will simply refer you back to...

    New CIC training system?

BOTC is a nationally mandated course, without a syllabus it cannot run, right now, there is no syllabus.

    New CIC training system?

I am certain it's not September; there were some issues identified after the trial courses for BOTC and OCC that will require a new trial being done - that is the gossip as of last month at least  ;D http://www.cadets.net/pac/rcis/FileLinks/08-09TrgSchedule.pdf

arms on parade used by cadets

And insofar as Pac Region is concerned the number 15-16 is appropraite for Army Cadet Corps, except that a lot of that number may be built up with drill purpose rifles vice functioning Lee Enfields. Rifle drill is still apart of the Army Cadet Summer Training programme, and the standads are...

Anybody do the NSCE exam this year? and how was it?

You don't have to try that hard, it's in the NSCE Study Guide which is distributed to Cadet Corps every year across Canada. The new (ish) marking format for Drill does not make it difficult to be successful, as long as you teach and confirm the squads correctly. If you don't do that, you're in...

    Promotions in the CAF [Merged]

What more information do you need? Once you finish BOQ submit a DND 324 (http://www.cadets.net/pac/support/admin/forms/dnd324.pdf) and then you'll get your commission. The proof of edu would be a part of your enrollement process, unless you gained the degree between your attestation and BOQ...

    Course to Staff Cadet

You shouldn't be hired as a Silver Star qualified Cadet. I know it wouldn't happen out here, can't speak to Blackdown/Connnaught/Argo/Valcartier

    Course to Staff Cadet

... it is a weak argument. Staff is based on qualifications, you should have NSCE, Gold Star minimum. Which course are you loaded onto? What star level have to attained so far?

    Damage To Uniform...

The only time a Cadet may have to pay for something is when it isn't owned by the Department of National Defence, but rather the sponsoring commitee. There is no recourse available to collect from a Cadet, even if they destroy, let's say a ceremonial belt buckle which is accounted for.
