Well, best I can adivse to you is good luck!  I am in the Ontario Regiment, and I only know of one individual who managed to find it and purchase it on e-Bay.  So, keep trying and try your luck at the militaria collectables shows, etc.  And while you're at it, see if you can find another one...

Why Did Canada Change Our Salute

Here is a good one, why not go back to the 'old school' British salute from the days gone by of the palm of the hand facing toward the person being paid the compliment.  Always found a warm spot when my old RSM; who was around when Centurion was a rank and not a tank, used it when handing off...

    NCM rank changes

I know that some Regiments, such as mine, the Ontario Regiment(RCAC) have adopted the practise of the slip-on being worn over the bayonet scabbard.  Other units have it on the left shoulder strap as detailed in the last post.  Too bad that a standard was not adopted as soon as someone in...

    The Gagetown Thread- Merged

Amen to that, George, spent Ex Venom Strike in Gagetown back in 1995.  Damn, that is one hell of a training area.  Correct me if I am wrong, Gagetown is the largest base/training area in the Commonwealth, right?  At least that is what I have been told, 1/8th the size of New Brunswick.

    Relax and Chill out!

Ah, the walk down Amnesia Lane to the days of QL2, QL3, QL5, etc etc etc some 13 years ago.  It took me personally some time to come to the realization that I will impart shortly.  I was a Cadet once long ago, and I did make that mistake by mentioning that on my QL2.  However, late nights...

Military KIT - proceeds to go to Cancer Research

Trinity,     Question for you....is there a chance, however remote, you may be able to find a current Signals dress belt buckle?  I am talking the one which you would wear on the dress white belt.  Please Advise...

    Fallen Comrades (serving Canadian military)

I can only hope that Juile passed peacefully and quietly when this occurred.  I have now just been informed of her passing the other day(29 Sep) and I am still in shock.  I guess it proves that you never know when your number is up.  May she rest in peace.
