I’m new to alL of this.  I just got IRB with DEC.

What does that mean exactly?

It means you will receive IRB till 65.

Just to add to this. You'll receive IRB til 65, at 65 you can be still eligible to receive it for life but at 70% instead of 90% of release salary.

You are still allowed to earn up to $20k gross each year with no reductions in your benefit.

Although if on SISIP you won't be able to get the $20k.
