Vacation with family while processing

Sorry guys I couldn't find anything about this on this site nor did I make contact with my local RC. So my question is if I leave Canada for the United States (5 days) for a trip with my family would this somehow slow down/affect my processing? I have my medical and interview left and selections apparently isn't till November according to my local RC (Infantry)

As long as the time you are away doesn't conflict with any dates for testing/interview you are fine.  if you are worried about it,  you can call the CFRC and inform them you will be in the US from X to Y dates
