Turning 18 in 9 days and want to join the army, advice/information pleassssse

So im turning 18 and want to join the canadian army infantry... But im hearing that all regiments are full or somthing? And if i was selected to join would i be taken shipped out to basic trainning any time soon? I want to do this really bad , so i would enlist in any other open jobs but i dont really know what to do.
