Information, stories, etc., about my dad.
His name was Warren E Loudy.
He joined the Cdn Army in April, 1941, probably just across the border from Detroit, MI. He was a tank driver, and was in Sicily, and I think also at Dieppe. He was wounded and discharged in 1944.
The last memory I have of him is getting out of a taxi in his uniform, and how handsome he was with his black beret. I was just 3 yrs. old at the time, but I have such a vivid picture....I hope someone out there can help me fill in some of the blanks about what kind of man he was.
