Folks,

I‘ve recently received an email and the sender wanted me to share it with the forums. (They were unable to post it themselves.)

Dear friends in Canada, I am a Viet Nam vet having served there in 1968-69. I do not know if this is the right place to send this email, but I personally do want to thank the people and government of Canada for your faithfulness to the US in our war in Afghanastan. I have always cherished the bond between our two countries and you have once again solidified that bond. May God bless Canada and protect her fighting men.

PS: I see that the Princess Patricia‘s Light Infantry spent a lot of time fighting here in Italy. We are in the south not too far from the Gulf of Taranto.
