Ok, yes this is sort of another Dog Tag question but one that hasn‘t been answered. I was told the other day by someone that they have a "friend" in the Canadian Air Force who has standard issue American Tags, the two seperate peices, and not the connected ones like the CF members normally wear. They then proceeded to tell me that their cousins friend is in the Americna Army but wears ID Disks which are the same style as the Canadian ones, with the two peices, one on top of the other. Has anyone heard of this before? Im just curious if its true. Thanks for the help.

Whether it matters or not, I highly, highly doubt this is true, though I remember hearing some time ago that the US was considering adopting our style of ID disks... Could just be one of those urban legends though.
