Supporting Documentation - Language Training

Good day all,

I am looking for some reference material on the usefullness of language trainined soldiers in theatre, regardless how self-evident it might seem.  I have read a few good papers on the subject but can't seem to dredge them up. Any direction to some journal entries or the like would be greatly appreciated.
