Two points about that leap to mind Muppet. First, that
increases the required manpower to man things like
artillery. It also doesn‘t change the additional holes
like not having enough NCO‘s...well, competent ones
anyway. Also, poorly trained and inexperienced troops
would absorb serious casualties if matched up against
a professional army.
Lastly, using the tank as an example, what happens when
somebody in that tank is incapacitated, that means it is
completely out of service.
