"Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg

Saw this movie last night.. I thought it was pretty good, lots of action and an interesting plot... I never knew how many calculations go into becoming a sniper/ taking the shot... I'd give the movie 8/10

The Afghan scenes were filmed near Ashcroft BC and one of the guys from the Canadiangunnutz forum was the firearm guy for the movie.

I don't think he is that old and goes by the moniker "Longshot" on the board. He did apparently appear in some of the scenes. I have yet to see the movie.

I thought the scene with the elderly gun expert guy was great... the guy was funny and informative.. kinda reminded me of my grandfather.
