Response time

Good day, I completed the online application to enlist on the 14th October and have not received further instructions other than the acknowledgement that they received my application.  My question is how long does it usually take before I am able to embark on the next steps?  Should I contact my local recruiting office?

Thank you for your interest in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Once you have submitted your applications you should of received a confirmation email. 2 - 4 days later you should receive an email indicating which is your local recruiting detachment. This email will also state which documents you will require. If you don't hear from your local recruiting detachment in the near future, it is suggested you call them directly.
