Hey, a little while ago we (Acoy, Bcoy, Ccoy Lorne Scots) all got together for an Intelligence Lecture/ Breifing on one parade night and afterwords our CO spoke to us for a little while about changes in the reserves/army and this and that.  He mentioned that they are trying to implement a program where reservists will be able to do a one year engagement in the Regs.  After the year they would return back to their reserve unit.  I would try to give numbers now, but I don't remember exactly.  I think it was maybe 20 slots per company.
Does anyone have any more useful info on this or even know about it?

The attachment in the first message has a number of new things that are in the works for the Infantry. One is that each Reg F rifle company will have 18 reservists serving one year engagements.
