Reserve Snipers

Hey everyone,I was reading some threads concerning snipers,and I decided to make this new thread.

I would like to know you're point of view on why aren't there any snipers in the reserves.I read that the Rocky Mountain Rangers and the Canadian Scottish Regiment had,but how come only these two units?I think it would be great to have this kind of training accessible to those who meet the standard in the reserves.

If this has been specifically discussed,I apologize and I would appreciate being re-directed to the right thread.
