reserve armoured DP1

Hi everyone. i;m new and i've been reading for a while. i have one question, I just finished SQ or BMQ(l) and am about to start my DP1 armoured and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it's like. what the course covers etc. i searched it and found a detailed outline of a reg force course in 2007 but things chaange and i was hoping to hear from someone whos done it a little more recently. thank you very much

Thank you very much for that and if anyone has any personal experiences to add i'd be grateful. I'm not sure how i missed reading that but it helped part of what I was looking for

As dangerboy pointed out in his link once you are posted to your Regt
you will be introduced to the Regt your going to serve with
thier history, thier armoured role either Recce,combat(tank's)
you will also be trained comm's, do echelon work, guard duty,,KP(get to
know the cook's)latrine duty(I'll leave that to your imagination).
You will make lifelong friend's, you will serve with a most profound group
of servicemen/women.
My Mil/Speak,,exsperiences are 25 yr's outa date. But I will do everything
possible to help you in your Cavalry job. Best Regard's and the best of luck.
