Researching Canadian Military Records
Whether you are curious about Canada’s military history or a
genealogist researching an ancestor who fought in the world wars,
this workshop shouldn’t be missed! Library and Archives Canada has
digitized thousands of service files of Canadians who served in the
armed forces between 1914 and 1945.

In this free presentation by Local History Librarian Louis-Philippe
Bujold, you will learn what information can be found on this online
resource and how to search effectively. Printed copies of selected
service files from both the First and Second World War will be
showcased for the participants to examine and learn from as well.
