I was wondering what's the difference between a regular's/reservist's tour (modern day, in Afghanistan) and that of special forces (JTF2, CSOR)? And also regarding tour & mission(s) duration, frequency, intensity and type.
What if you had the choice to make a decision between going overseas with a regular unit or with a special operations unit, what would you prefer? And why?
