Rapid deployment?

Last night one of the officers at my unit told us that there would be places for 15 and 18 months contracts this summer for "rapid deployment"

Now im very interested in doing a full time job for the reserves for 18 months (plus a need the money).  The officer really didnt give us any details on what this rapid deployment stuff was.
What is it exactly? Is it only 18 months of training or is there also a 6 months tour? If no will i be requested to go on tour on a moments notice because i did this rapid peployment course?

It sounds like 6 months work up, and one year stand-by/high readiness. 
You would not know about an actual deployment until a Wng O is sent.
